    Despite playing top teams close and often trading scoring chance for scoring chance, the Pasadena City College men's soccer team couldn't get things to go their way in 2017. Host Rio Hondo handed PCC a 3-2 loss Friday in the season finale as the Lancers placed last in the ultra tough South Coast Conference North Division.

    Freshman forward Romio Sislian scored two goals to lead the Pasadena City College men's soccer team to its first South Coast Conference North Division victory in six attempts Friday, defeating host East Los Angeles College, 3-2. The Lancers improved to 5-9-4 overall and stand at 1-4-1 in division play.

    After falling behind 2-0 by the 14-minute mark Tuesday, the Pasadena City College men's soccer team took control of the game for much of the final 76 minutes but Chaffey held on to defeat the Lancers, 3-2, at Robinson Stadium. PCC is winless in South Coast Conference North Division play at 0-4-1.

    After a rough patch of the season that included a 4-game losing streak, the Pasadena City College men's soccer team has found some consistency of late under interim head coach Gerry Mora. The Lancers are now 2-1-1 since Mora took over the direction of the squad after a 2-0 win at LA Harbor College on Tuesday. The game was a South Coast Conference crossover matchup.

    Cesar Tanaka drove home the winning goal with eight minutes left as the Pasadena City College men's soccer team snapped a 7-game winless streak, defeating Long Beach City College, 2-1, Tuesday at Robinson Stadium. The game was a South Coast Conference crossover meeting.
