  • Men's Cross Country Ends '16 Season

    The Pasadena City College men's cross country team didn't make a big splash at the CCCAA State Championship meet on Saturday in Fresno, but the Lancers did accomplish a goal to advance to the final race as a team. The Lancers placed 27th out of 28 scoring teams, but it was PCC's first time it had qualified as a team since the 2012 season.
  • Guzman 35th, Men's Cross Country 16th At SoCal Championships

    Nathan-Michael Guzman once again proved why he is Pasadena City College's top men's cross country racer after taking 35th individually at the Southern California Championship meet held at Irvine Regional Park. The Lancers placed 16th out of 28 teams to allow them to qualify as a team at the upcoming CCCAA State Championships. It is the first time in four years that the team qualified for the event.
  • Men's Cross Country Grabs 3rd At SCC Championships

    It has been 20 years since the Pasadena City College men's cross country team won its only South Coast Conference title in the sport. On Friday, the Lancers didn't win the title, but accomplished something the program hasn't done in 14 years--finish in third place.
  • Men's Cross Country 4th At Mt. SAC Invitational

    The Pasadena City College men's cross country team continues to fly under the radar, but its fourth place (out of 17 teams) finish at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational served notice that the Lancers can compete with the state's best. The meet was run on October 14 over the Mounties' 4-mile course.
  • Men's Cross Country Wins Santiago Canyon Invite

    With just four colleges participating, the Pasadena City College men's cross country team scored its first meet title under first-year head coach Innocent Egbunike at the Santiago Canyon Invitational on September 30. The Lancers placed five of the top 10 finishers over the 4-mile course at Irvine Regional Park.

    The Pasadena City College men's cross country team has already made a big leap in performance under new head coach Innocent Egbunike and assistant coach Tyrus DeMinter with the Lancers' third place finish out of 13 scoring teams at the Palomar Invitational held in Oceanside September 9.
  • 2016 Preview: Guzman 9th At Ventura Men's X-Country Invitational

    The Pasadena City College men's cross country team opened the 2016 season under new head coach Innocent Egbunike by placing seventh out of nine teams at the 32nd Ventura Invitational held September 2. The highlight was the performance of sophomore Nathan-Michael Guzman, who placed ninth overall with a time of 23 minutes, 24.7 seconds over the 4-mile course at Arroyo Verde Park.
  • Olympic Medalist Innocent Egbunike Named PCC Track and Field/Cross Country Head Coach

    Innocent Egbunike, who was associated with eight Olympic Games as an athlete and coach, is Pasadena City College's new full-time head coach for the Lancers men's and women's track and field and men's and women's cross country teams. The hiring will be made official at next month's PACCD Board of Trustees meeting.
