    Recently achieving the 1,000-point plateau, Pasadena City College women's basketball team center-forward Alisa Shinn was honored as a selection on the All-State Second Team. The sophomore Shinn was earlier named the South Coast Conference North Division Player of the Year.

In the third quarter, sophomore Alisa Shinn woke up her team and went on to put together a double-record postseason performance as PCC advanced with a 66-60 victory.
