    The Pasadena City College football team used an efficient ground game that resulted in five touchdowns as the Lancers stayed perfect at 6-0 by winning their SCFA American Pacific League opener over Santa Monica, 35-16, on Saturday afternoon. The game was moved to PCC due to the tragic shooting that closed down the SMC campus this week.

    The scheduled SCFA game to be hosted by Pasadena City College's football team v. College of the Desert on Saturday has been officially postponed. According to Director of Football Operations/Head Coach Robert Tucker, the game will possibly be rescheduled. The postponement due to Desert not having enough players available as cancels the ceremony planned for the 50th anniversary of the undefeated 1974 Lancers on Saturday.

College of the Desert, the college will recognize the 50th anniversary of the 1974 undefeated Lancers team in a ceremony honoring members of that squad. The ceremony will begin approximately 15 minutes prior to the opening kickoff of 6 p.m. at Robinson Stadium.
